Simple, yet.... let's try to read it from the heart, as if we were reading poetry, because art is always poetry.

THE CROSS

A simple but asymmetrical cross. A cross that, on closer inspection, appears to be made up of two swords.

The Heart of Jesus was also pierced by swords during His life, but He, Jesus, was able to transcend these swords into a Cross of Redemption. One of them pierces His heart as a sign of sacrifice, a gift of self to the Father, and the other extends freely into space to cover us all.

TWO HEARTS

Two open hearts with an outline that won't close, not because the designer was in a hurry or the pencil was badly sharpened, but because hearts are ontologically open.

The heart on the left represents the Heart of Jesus, a heart full of love for the Father and filled with the Father's love for us, a love so strong that he became incarnate and shed his blood for us all. Then there is the Cross, which, like a sharp sword, pierces him from side to side.

The heart on the right is that of Mary, open to sharing in the hope of the liberation of her people, open to duality and contradictions to such an extent that she gives birth as a virgin, married as a chaste woman, in order to become the mother of her God and of those who killed her only Son.

A FLAME

From this Mother's heart a flame bursts forth, symbolising a love that burns, that causes suffering but saves, that purifies and sanctifies.

TWO INTERTWINED HEARTS

Two intertwined hearts, without distinguishing which of them contains the other, because each of the two begets the other.

The Heart of Jesus is formed in the Heart of Mary, and all the feelings of the Heart of Mary are enclosed in  the Heart of Jesus.

OUR NAME
